Always Good News

Wow, time certainly does fly even when there really isn't anything going on. I have not posted for a while... well because I have been waiting for something new. Since there is nothing new yet I went searching and have found simple joys in items around the home.

First, if you are like me and just down at the moment; no job, sick and worried about monies. There is a website that will truly lift your day.

http://optimistworld.com/News.aspx

Instead of focusing on all the negative energy in the universe this site is devoted to providing all the amazing advances and positive energy moments in the universe. Take you time and explore the site.

Aside from that I have found a natural talent for cooking. [not a chef, just cooking] Here are some photos of some recent creations. Most are all locally grown and organic.

My home favorite. Two coney's and a side of fries.

Delicious Kabob with corn off the cob.

Herbed chicken with fresh green-beans and red mash potatoes.
I know it may not look like much, however my timing seems to be spot on and flavors or delightful. I will post new recipes and photos as more food is cooked.

142 hours

Well, I can no longer contain the excitement I am feeling towards traveling back to see my lady friend. She is amazing and now I get to see the place dearest to her heart.

Occasionally in my life I find new music [at least new to me] that captures a mood that I am in. This moment in time Sean Hayes, When We Fall In.

Conundrum

There is a sad fact of this world that children everywhere are without proper shelter, nourishment and education. Usually they are depicted in third world countries however they exists even in america. It would only take a quick drive around Detroit [reminder keep your windows locked and don't stop, not even for red lights, the cops don't either] to see the poor conditions here too. While there are plenty of charities, I will not name them here, that take your money, cut some for themselves and then disperse the rest to children in need. While this is all great I do not think it solves anything.

In my opinion the most vexing problem facing this and future generation of the world is not global warming but overpopulation. The world at current consumption rates of every resource we have, would require and additional earth and a half. I think that means we are toast. Now, with all these children that essentially have nothing, abandoned, orphaned what have you, will ultimately lead similar lives their parents have. Overpopulating.

To be honest, I would rather my charity donations go to these poor areas to address the issue of population control and education rather than just sustaining the damned. These tend to be the areas where family from single parents hit numbers of 12 or more. This just stresses every inhabitants resources and it seems we can not do anything. I realize telling someone not to have children is removing a natural freedom. But it the responsibility of every human on this planet to leave it better for our future generations.

Hey, maybe the simplest thing to do, increase all space explorations and technologies so that resource harvesting on foreign bodies in the sky can become feasible.

Struggles

The old adage of when it rains it pours couldn't be more true. I guess it always seems that way. I guess the things to look forward to is that it can only get better right?

Well anyway today I have begun the Insanity workout and it just adds to what I am struggling with in life currently. This does have a great outcome that is in site as long as I continue with it. While I starting the first series of polymetrics this morning to distract my mind from the intense pain I was feeling I got to thinking about all the ridiculous requirements I have seen while I have applied for job after job and continue to hear nothing. So I have compiled my own employee inquiry that I believe to be more accurate to what companies may be looking for;

"Start up company seeking team player who can walk on water. Must have strong presentation skills in 9 languages including klingon. Ideal candidate can work independently and telepathically. Requires 2 hours of sleep and 3 hours of sleep on weekends. Must have a bachelors degree, masters degree, nobel prize and belong to 3 secret societies. References must include one living president.

Applicant must also submit original water color portrait and 800 page memoir along with resume.

This position is for a summer internship."

Well at least I don't feel the muscle burn anymore.

First Time Blogger

Well, this is the first time I have ever considered blogging. I was inspired to share my thoughts and present questions to the masses in the intranet machine. I do hope that this becomes a new vehicle to stay connected with people that does not turn into the horrid nightmare that facebook has become.  I remember the early days when you could only befriend people in your own college, then other college students. I was content with that level of connectivity. Then, every Tom Dick and Harry was allowed to peer into your life and make comments about how you were living, events you were attending and affect emotions while having no remorse as you would have from talking directly to that person. Where it finally has failed for me was the introduction of companies on facebook. Alas, it seems if anyone were to delete their account there would be no way to reconnect with anyone from your past, family members you hardly communicate with and friends living a social lifestyle.

Anyway, the blog has now begun. Stay tuned for more rants, questions and general ideas.
